haiku..?

Senja datang

Menyisakan kenangan

Seiring petang

Mawar mengembang

Semerbak berterbangan

Lalu menghilang

Tidurlah sayang

Istirahatlah tenang

Malam menjelang

i don't know whether it's a haiku / senryu. and, yes this is my first time of making a haiku..
I've read some haiku and sonnets but still cannot decide which one of them that would suits me best. As you can read most of my writings use a free style. I think I'll stay on my path, lol. wish me the best luck for my writing. because, I'm pretty sure I'll need a lot of them.
i know my haiku sounds soooo cheesy. but, still. i cannot help my self for not posting it here. I guess I'm a show off kind of girl, haha.
